Carina Hodgins

Meet Carina Hodgins

Founder + Master Lagree Fitness Trainer

Carina’s journey to opening the studio was anything but conventional—enroute to pursuing a DPT, a surprise opportunity took the wheel: enter a cross-country U-Haul filled with Megaformers and a new unshakable vision to build something extraordinary: Define Lagree. As a former dancer, Pilates and Barre instructor, and personal trainer turned elite Lagree instructor, she’s spent years mastering movement, training top talent, and leading certifications across San Diego. When COVID hit, she took her passion outside, drawing crowds of 80+ to park workouts before making the leap to launch Define.

Carina built Define Lagree with a clear mission: to create a space where top-tier instructors deliver the best Lagree workouts in San Diego. As a longtime fitness professional, Carina has done the work. She understands what it takes to excel in this field and she cultivates a learning environment where instructors continually grow and uplevel their classes. This commitment ensures that Define offers the most exceptional Lagree experience, with only the most skilled instructors delivering unmatched training.

At her core, Carina is both a coach and your biggest cheerleader—pushing clients and instructors to reach new heights while fostering a supportive, high-energy space. Her passion for movement, relentless pursuit of excellence, and hands-on mentorship make Define Lagree more than just a studio; it’s a training ground for the best in all of us.
